COURSE COST: $125

defensive handgun level 1: 3-4 hours

This course is a continuation of the Introduction To Handgun curriculum. It is intended to continue building a well rounded working knowledge and and skill set based around the use of a defensive handgun. This course is a 3-4 hour block of instruction based out of both the classroom and shooting range.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

*Eye & ear protection (available for purchase)
*Safe & reliable handgun (If you do not have a handgun you will have access to loaner or rental guns)
*100 rounds of factory new brass ammunition for your handgun (available for purchase)
*Total of 3 magazines for your handgun (if at all possible) (non-applicable for revolvers)

(*There is a 3 student minimum requirement for this course. If the scheduled class is unable to be conducted you will have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.)

*General marksmanship skills
*Loading & unloading
*Ready positions (High & Low)
*Defensive handgun shooting drills

COURSE COST: $125

DEFENSIVE HANDGUN LEVEL II: 3-4 HOURS

This course is a continuation of the Introduction To Handgun and level I curriculum. It is intended to continue building a well rounded working knowledge and skill set based around the use of a defensive handgun. Level II will begin to focus heavily on accuracy building drills. This course is a 3-4 hour block of instruction based out of both the classroom and shooting range.

CORE CURRICULUM TO BE COVERED:

*Firearm safety
*Fundamentals of handgun shooting
*Accuracy building skills
*Loading & unloading
*Ready positions(High & Low)
*Defensive handgun shooting drills

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

*The Introduction To Handgun or Level I course are not a prerequisite for this class but it is VERY HIGHLY recommended for new shooters.

GEORGIA USE OF FORCE & CARRY LAWS: 2 HOURS

This course is intended to give the student a well rounded base of knowledge in regards to the use of force and carrying a firearm inside and away from your home according to Georgia law. This is a 2 hour block of classroom based instruction that does not require a firearm or any equipment.

*Georgia use of force law
*Georgia carry law
*Judgemental use of force
*Justification of deadly force
*Use of force incident awareness
*Post use of force incident management

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

*There are no firearm or equipment requirements for this course
